The Riserva is produced with a careful selection of the best grapes
coming from two vineyards, chosen for their altitude and closeness to
the winemaking cellar.
Due to full maturation, the color is a deep and
intense ruby red. Due to long permanence in fermentation tanks and to
more then two years of aging in small French oak barrels, smell and
taste have a well balanced complexity. Powerful and elegant, this
Riserva has clean notes of ripened fruits, jam and spices. Warm and
round on the palate, discloses a good volume and has a precise and
persistent finish of pepper and underbrush notes.
