Fruit Source: The
northern part of Jumilla which offers superior growing conditions to
the south. The vineyards are at higher elevations and the sandy soils
make possible a percentage of ungrafted vines that could be unique in
Europe. This Dulce is from an 11-hectare parcel of ungrafted vines planted between 1872 and present. Winemaking Notes: From the vineyard's oldest vines. Hand harvested. Fermentation of Dulce stopped by addition of ~2% alcohol. Bottled June after the harvest.

Inky
purple. Heady aromas of cassis, blueberry preserves, violet and
lavender are expansive and strikingly precise. Dark berry liqueur
flavors show intense sweetness but maintain freshness thanks to gentle
minerality and tangy acidity. Lush but lively, finishing with sweet
boysenberry and blueberry notes and excellent length.
