Winemaking Notes: Located in the Middle Mosel area, the estate lies on 12.5 acres of steep terrain, planted entirely to Riesling. The wines are aged in traditional large oak barrels.

About Mosel: This region along the Mosel River is home to some of Germany’s finest white wines. Known for racing acidity, low alcohol, and lively aromatics, these wines tend to be based on Riesling, and tend to be among the best in the world. Temperatures can get to about 64 degrees Fahrenheit at the peak of summer, but it is otherwise a quite cold climate. Extremely steep slopes and the reflection from the river below make the most of sun when it’s available, and help ripen the grapes. These wines are food-friendly, sophisticated, and stunningly delicious.
