a period in bottle. No filtration and clarification.
Cascina delle Rose Barbaresco 'Tre Stelle' Tasting Notes: Brilliant and transparent garnet red with elegant notes of roses and violet, wild red berries, a fresh vein of minerality, slightly spiced, nimble and nervous tannin, but fine and silky. Long and impressively persistence. Highly delightful even young for its great finesse.

Rating: 95
(Voted #46 on Top 100 list for 2013) This gorgeous, single-vineyard Barbaresco has an enticing Nebbiolo perfume of forest floor, Alpine herbs, ripe berry, truffle and a hint of leather. The palate delivers cherry notes sprinkled with spice and shows great depth and balance. It's elegant and already shows mesmerizing complexity.

Cascina delle Rose 2010 Barbaresco, Tre Stelle, DOCG
Rating: 95
The 2010 Barbaresco Tre Stelle is a wine with an attitude, a really positive one in fact. Dark pressed fruit and blue flower create a gorgeous bouquet that is laced with smoky notes of tar, licorice and spice. This wine flaunts a tight and firm consistency that is supported by the fine and integrated tannins. Its personality is delicate and feminine, but the wine’s persistency and determination is full-throttle. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2028.
