'Ombroso' Superiore Riserva is produced only in best vintages.

Winemaking Notes: Soft press and destemming. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at a max. temperature of 30°C.  Prolonged skin-contact maceration is allowed. The wine spends 12 to 15 months in French Barriques and Tonneaux - 50% new, and 50% of second and third year. Following a very light filtration the wine rests in the bottle for over 1 year, before release.

Tasting Notes: Rich in personality, displays hints of antique rose, black plums, blackberries and a subtle note of liquorice roots on the nose. Balanced palate with richness of flavor and minerality backed up by a crunchy fruit.
