This Bordeaux by Bergey (pronounced Bear-J) comes from an area located on the eastern part of the city of Bordeaux. The vines are averaging 43 years of age and are planted on a fine gravel soil with clay and limestone. The yield is 50 hectoliters per hectare. Harvest is with machines. A double selection of grapes is made at the winery. The fermentation is temperature-controlled and lasts for three weeks with micro-oxygenation.

Tasting Notes: Nose of raspberry and wild bramble. Palate is refined with silky structure and good concentration. Medium body, enjoy over the next 2-3 years with lamb, roast pork or grilled duck.
