Cooperage: Mixed Bourbon American oak, and French oak The general idea with Henry du Yore's Bourbon is to put together an ultra premium American Whiskey that is at least 51% corn, but heavy on Rye, with a liberal amount of Barley to give greater depth to the aromatics and to add greater viscosity and fatness to the palate. The effect of the different mash bills and blending yields a whiskey that is somewhere between Bourbon, Rye and a Single Malt, while still representing the best that a Bourbon can be.
