Banshee Wines is not your normal wine company. They are a band of wine industry insiders dedicated to producing benchmark wines that provide true value. They are negociants who specialize in finding hidden gems in other wineries' cellars and then blending those barrels to create killer wines. Thousands of barrels are tasted, only a few are selected for Banshee. The secret is that today, high-end wineries can't sell all the wine they make and don't want to lower prices for fear of diminishing their brand. So they sell some of their wine or grapes to people like Banshee and protect their luxury prices. Fine by us and even better for you.

They are also winemakers who work with high-end vineyards to produce wines of purity and balance. Throughout the year they are working in lock-step with vineyard managers to fine tune their blocks of vines. You'll find Banshee on some of the best restaurant lists in the world and in the glasses of wine geeks around the world. Their goal is to craft distinctive wines that over-deliver in every possible way.

Beautifully resonant on the glass, the 2012 Pinot Noir Bohemian flows with the essence of dark red cherries, plums, smoke, licorice and tobacco. There is gorgeous depth and persistence in the glass, along with an element of mystery that is hugely appealing. This is a terrific showing.

Ruby-red. Heady aromas of red berry preserves, cherry skin, potpourri and cola, with a subtle vanilla note emerging with air. Silky and sweet on the palate, offering energetic raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that pick up weight and a smoky quality in the glass. Shows impressive energy on the finish, which leaves rose and raspberry notes behind.
